This is a brand identity for a fictional exhibition at the Design Museum in London as part of my university final first year project.
The ethos of this exhibition is to hero the under represented designers of the design industry. This includes women and BAME designers. The exhibition celebrates diversity and variation. Because of this the identity to this exhibition is constantly evolving and changing. However, there is still a strong brand consistency which is very important.
This diversity can be seen and is represented in the vibrant, assorted colour pallet, change of composition in the logotype and change of pattern within the typeface. For this reason, a type lead identity has been chosen for this brand as it can symbolise variation because of the letter forms acting as symbols.
